Arriving by car

Travel to the Engadin via well-developed roads via Julier-Pass, Albula Pass (only in summer), Bernina- and Maloja-Pass or via the Lower Engadine.

Zurich - Pontresina: 200 km, 3 hours
Milano - Pontresina: 175 km, 3 hours
Munich - Pontresina: 300 km, 4 hours
Basel - Pontresina: 250 km, 4 hours

When the snow is blowing, crossing the passes is only permitted with chains or 4x4 vehicles.

Arrival by train

The trip with the Rhaetian Railway (RhB) from Chur - Tiefencastel - With its winding tunnels and dizzying viaducts, Engadin is one of the most picturesque and technically interesting in all of Europe (UNESCO World Heritage Site). But there is also the possibility from Landquart via Klosters - Vereina-Tunnel to travel to the Engadine. So you get off Zurich HB in 3 hours, 19 minutes to Pontresina.

Arrival by plane

from Engadin Airport you have flight connections to the international airports of Zurich, Basel, Milano and Munich. Likewise Air Taxi- connections entertained to many other national and international destinations. More under www.engadin-airport.ch
